RIYADH, 20 November 2003 — A medical team at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center here recently removed a 15-year-old cancerous tumor from a 69-year-old patient’s neck. The tumor, weighing two kilos and located in the thyroid gland, was causing the man acute respiratory problems.
