JEDDAH, 29 November 2003 — Saleh Al-Aufi, one of the 19 wanted terror suspects, has offered to surrender, Okaz reported yesterday quoting Al-Jihad website. The message carried by the Islamist website said Aufi repented after watching Sheikh Ali Al-Khudair and Sheikh Nasser Al-Fahd on Saudi TV recanting and withdrawing their fatwas in support of militancy. Aufi urged other militants to follow suit and surrender to security authorities.
