HOFUF, 4 December 2003 — A Saudi man in his twenties threatened to commit suicide by jumping from a high crane, Al-Watan reported. The fire department spent several hours convincing the young man not to jump. The department agreed to help the young man solve his problems in addition to giving him SR8,000 based on his request.
