JEDDAH, 15 December 2003 — Saudi Aramco has won first place in a list of international oil companies published by Petroleum Intelligence Weekly. The company won for its oil and gas production and reserves as well as its refining and sales capabilities, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The Saudi oil giant holds the top position on the weekly’s annual list for the 15th consecutive year, the agency added. “This international recognition increases our responsibility to remain a dependable energy source for the Kingdom and the world,” said Abdullah Juma, the company’s president and CEO. He said 2002 was a year of achievements for Saudi Aramco.
