JEDDAH, 17 December 2003 — A series of business awareness and entrepreneurship seminars will be conducted jointly by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and the OFW Cooperative Council (OFWCC). The first will be held tomorrow at Tropicana Restaurant in Jeddah from 1 p.m. till 7 p.m.

Rosauro Octaviano, OWWA chief for the Western Region, said the seminar is in line with the Philippine government’s reintegration program for Filipinos workers abroad.

OFWCC officer Wenfred Castolome said the seminars are limited to only 150 OFW registrants on a “first come first served basis.” Among the various topics to be discussed are entrepreneurial quality, money management, franchising, restaurant management, banking loan facilities, and other related to business ventures including OWWA benefits & services.
