JEDDAH, 18 December 2003 — Minister of Transport Dr. Jabara Al-Seraisry will open the 25th Jeddah International Motor Show (JIMS) at the city’s International Exhibition and Convention Center on Sunday.
In addition to new cars, trucks and buses, there will also be futuristic vehicles on display along with enclosures for autocare and a 4x4 test-drive circuit.
“This is an exceptional year as the show celebrates its 25th anniversary with an expanded format and exciting new features,” a management spokesman for Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions, the organizer, said yesterday.
One new feature is the motor sport simulator zone. A section of a race track has been recreated with linked race simulators where visitors can race against each other on the world’s F1 racetracks.
