JEDDAH, 18 December 2003 — The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers in the Western Region (PSME — WRSA)will hold its annual convention tomorrow at the Jeddah Hilton Hotel. The highlight of the convention is the induction of the chapter’s newly elected officers by Ambassador Bahnarim Guinomla.
Leading the inductees is Wilfredo Ruiz, who was reelected as president. He first served in 2000, during which he received the “Outstanding Chapter President” award from the PSME national headquarters in Manila.
The other officers are: Ernesto Cala, vice president; Jose Ma. Emmanuel Acebuque, secretary; Dominador Visaya, treasurer; Wilfredo Leoncio, auditor; Jonathan Francisco, public relations officer
The directors are: Josel Sison, membership; Joselito Bentulan, technical affairs; Rey Anthony Mejia, plant tours; Rogelio Baculi, external affairs; Jerwynn Fernandez, internal affairs; Napoleon Cepriaso, professional enhancement; Antonio Acosta, sports; Gerardo Cuares, ethics; and Robert Tapales, information technology.
