RIYADH, 29 May 2004 — The British Embassy will accept visa applications by appointment only from now on. Ken Neill, a consul at the embassy, said the aim was “to avoid unnecessary and repeated queuing while the embassy is receiving several hundred applications a day.” The embassy will try to process 90 percent of the applications within 24 hours, he added.
