AJMAN, 7 July 2004 — Sheikh Humaid ibn Rashid Al-Nuaimi, a member of the UAE Supreme Council and ruler of Ajman, last week visited the Gulf Medical College Ajman (GMCA).
Accompanying him were Sheikh Ammar Al-Nuaimi, crown prince of Ajman, and Sheikh Nahayan Al-Nahayan, the minister of higher education.
Sheikh Nahayan’s visit was his first to the college. “It’s a dream come true,” said Thumbay Moideen, founder president of the college.
Sheikh Nahayan along with the ruler and the crown prince went around the college and met with students.
In his guest book remarks, Sheikh Humaid said he was proud of the achievements made by the college in the last five years.
GMCA, one of the leading medical colleges in the region, has received its official recognition from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for its MBBS program.
