RIYADH, 21 July 2004 — Filipino engineers, surveyors, and other construction professionals are being invited to a seminar on the latest GPS system applications.
Organized by the Order of Filipino Civil Engineers in Riyadh (OFCER), the event will be held on Friday, from 4-9 p.m., at the White Palace Hotel on King Abdulaziz Road, almost opposite to Al Minhal Hotel.
OFCER president Emmanuel Espinosa said participants will also be treated to product presentations to update them and enhance their technical expertise on new systems and products, including software’s applications.
Collaborating with OFCER in the seminar is Trimble, a manufacturer and supplier of surveying equipment.
“This seminar is relevant to our organization’s educational goals of providing beneficial seminars or training to our members and to non-members,” said Espinosa.
OFCER, on of several Filipino professional organizations in the Kingdom, is a non-profit group affiliated with the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, Inc. (PICE).
