ALKHOBAR, 26 July 2004 — Filipinos in the Eastern Province who have business to do with the Philippine Embassy are encouraged to meet the consular team in Alkhobar on Thursday and Friday.
According to the embassy in Riyadh, the Embassy on Wheels will hold office temporarily at the Al Bustan Hotel in Agrabiyah Area in Alkhobar.
Office hours will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday.
The consular team will be rendering passport renewals, document authentication and assistance to nationals, the embassy said.
On Aug. 11-14, a team from the Philippine Consulate in Jeddah will be in Tabuk also to render consular services in the city and nearby places.
To be led by Consul General Pendosina N. Lomondot, the consular team will hold office at the Al-Arabi Hotel.
Those who have business to transact are advised to prepare the necessary requirements, such as ID pictures for passport renewal.
