JEDDAH, 2 September 2004 — Classes at Effat College for the new school year will begin on Sept. 12. Effat College has been granted a license by the Ministry of Higher Education to offer majors in management sciences in addition to its existing majors. Students now are able to major in finance, management, information systems, marketing and accounting.
The programs are modeled after the AACB-accredited curriculum followed by King Fahd University for Petroleum and Minerals and have been adopted with KFUPM’s support. An information session open to the public will be held on Sept. 8 at 1 p.m. at the Effat campus. Interested students can meet faculty to learn more about specific programs offered.
