JEDDAH, 8 September 2004 — The alumni of Nizamia University, Hyderabad organized a 40-day summer coaching program in association with Dar-ul-Ilm Education Society for the children of expatriates.
The program started with the recitation of the holy Qur’an by Abdul Salam. Awards were given to successful participants at a ceremony presided over by Nizamia University Vice-Chancellor Mufti Khalil Ahmed who stressed the importance of Islamic education.
An Islamic quiz competition featuring three teams was the highlight of the evening. The team led by Minhajuddin was declared winner.
Dar-ul-Ilm Education Society President Jamalullah Qadri spoke on the need for such summer coaching programs. He thanked Abdul Haq Hashim, Muslehuddin Javed and Naseeruddin for their efforts to make the program successful. Naveed Afroz anchored the program.
