JEDDAH, 23 September 2004 — The Kapihan sa Jeddah will finally be held tomorrow with Consul General Mohamad Noordin Pendosina N. Lomondot as chief guest, the Kasapi Congress said yesterday.
Up for discussion are various topics concerning Filipino migrant workers, including welfare and protection and efforts meant to prepare OFWs for their eventual return to the Philippines, said Kasapi Chairman Nazruddin Dianalan.
The forum will be held from 8 A.M. to 12 noon at the Mezzanine Conference Room of AL-Harithy Hotel.
“All concerned community leaders are invited to join the community forum so that they can ventilate their views and share their opinions on matters of importance to all OFWs,” said Kasapi Secretary-general Gil Manese in a press release.
