DAMMAM, 4 October 2004 — The Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EPCCI) will organize a workshop on Saudi Arabia’s possible entry into the World Trade Organization at its premises on Oct. 9-10. The workshop seeks to educate private sector businesses about the economic, commercial and legal implications of Kingdom’s entry into the world body. Similar workshops will also be organized in Jubail on Nov.12-13. Tariq Al-Zuhd, EPCCI consultant for WTO affairs, will conduct a series of lecture sessions in the two-day workshop. Al-Zuhd has been involved with WTO issues for many years, conducting similar workshops and training courses in different Arab and GCC countries.
