JEDDAH, 16 October 2004 — Tarun Tejpal, editor in chief of Tehelka weekly and online newspaper Tehelka.com, is expected to visit the city again very soon. Tejpal, a symbol of integrity and fight against corruption, was a big hit with the Indian community during his first visit and many organizations wanted to honor him but could not do so due to his preoccupation and short visit.
Now an attempt is being made to arrange for Tejpal’s second visit in the near future. Tejpal was here at the invitation of Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Association as the guest of honor at the Sir Syed Day celebration at Al-Salam Holiday Inn Hotel.
