DUBAI, 21 October 2004 — Entries are invited for the Ideal Arab Mother and Family Awards, which are part of Dubai Shopping Festival’s 10th annual event starting from Jan. 12. The awards now enter their sixth year.
The awards are an “enduring symbol of DSF’s reputation as more than a shopping and entertainment event, reflecting the social, cultural and ethical values of the popular family event,” DSF Chief Executive Officer Saeed Muhammad Al-Nabouda said.
“The awards go a long way in recognizing the contribution of the Arab mother in setting an example of good motherhood in the region. Her effort in bringing a good name to motherhood has to be recognized and highlighted so as to inspire others to follow in her footsteps, while the ideal family’s role in building a better society is honored under this humanitarian aspect of the DSF awards,” he added.
