JEDDAH, 24 December 2004 — A 15-member business delegation led by Mian Mohammad, chairman of Pakistan Guarantee Export Corporation, Lahore, will arrive in Saudi Arabia to attend the forthcoming IITEX 2004 trade fair, according to Sohail Ali Khan, press attaché at the Consulate General of Pakistan. The weeklong exhibition will start on Dec. 25 at Jeddah International Exhibition & Convention Center. During the visit, the members of the delegation will seek to improve trade ties between the two countries. The delegation will specially focus on marketing Pakistani textiles. It will also promote export of leather products, pharmaceuticals, foodstuff, agricultural products, sports goods and carpets. Pakistan, which exports consumer goods to more 100 countries around the world, has been emerging as a reliable trading partner in the global market.
