JEDDAH, 3 January 2005 — Pakistan Minister of State Tariq Ikram, who is also chairman of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), has invited a delegation from the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to visit Pakistan. Ikram told Arab News here yesterday after a meeting with JCCI Secretary General Mohammed A. Al-Sharif that the invitation to bring a delegation of businessmen to Pakistan on the occasion of a very large commercial event — Expo 2005, to be held in Karachi from Feb. 2-5, had been accepted. The minister said that almost 500 Pakistani companies would be exhibiting their products and services.
