MAKKAH, 14 January 2005 — Interior Minister Prince Naif will tour the holy sites in Makkah tomorrow to inspect the latest preparations for Haj and new projects implemented in the holy sites which will serve pilgrims. Prince Naif will inspect the Jamarat Bridge and look at the new modifications carried out on it.

MAKKAH — Saudi postal authorities have evolved a logistic plan for the Haj season. According to the plan approved by the President of Saudi Post, Dr. Muhammad Bintin, more than 860 postal employees will be mobilized in Makkah and Jeddah to ensure that all incoming and outgoing mail will be handled on a priority basis during Haj There will be 18 mail branches in Makkah, ten in the holy sites and nine in Jeddah. As many as 28 cars and 25 motorbikes will be deployed to ensure fast delivery of the mail.
Haj Permit Deadline
MAKKAH — The Ministry of Haj has extended the deadline until Monday for issuing Haj permits for residents and citizens, Al-Madinah newspaper reported.
