RIYADH, 15 January 2005 — Crown Prince Abdullah has ordered naming a number of main streets in different parts of the Kingdom after the martyrs who died in action during confrontations with deviant groups.
Prince Miteb, minister of municipal and rural affairs, announced in a statement that he received orders from the crown prince that the authorities concerned should put full names of those who were killed in confrontations with deviant groups on signboards marking some important streets in different cities and towns across the Kingdom, giving everyone of them the title of "martyr of the religion and nation" and showing to which town, city, province or region he belongs.
This directive came in recognition of the sacrifices of these martyrs, he said.
