YANBU, 16 January 2005 — The Saudi Aramco Mobil Refinery Co. (Samref) in Yanbu last week celebrated its outstanding safety achievement when it completed the year 2004 without a lost-time injury among its employees and contractors. The unique safety record was the first to be scored by Samref.
In their speeches, senior officials attributed the achievement to the management’s commitment to safety and the cooperation between employees and contractors in applying safety procedures.
Safety awards were distributed to employees and contractors in appreciation of the achievement.
