Computer Associates International, the world’s largest management software company, launched its direct operations in the Arab world in September 2004. In a show of its commitment to regional customers, CA has invested in resources that allow its users in the Arab world to start a direct dialogue with the company. Customers from across the region can get in touch with CA through its newly established contact center in Beirut, Lebanon, as well as communicate with the company through its new website, www.ca-arabworld.com.

“Our bilingual user-friendly website offers our clients and partners comprehensive information ranging from corporate profile to contact information,” said Ned Jaroudi, regional marketing director of Computer Associates in the Arab countries. “Users can be informed of our up-to-date news, customer success stories and upcoming events.

They can also download trial versions and patches of our solutions and most importantly get all the technical support information they need through our data sheets, analyst reports and white papers.”

Jaroudi added that CA is in the process of building content that specifically targets channel partners in the region.

“Our business model relies entirely on an experienced, qualified and certified channel able to meet the expectations of our customers,” he explained. “On our new website we have dedicated a section that communicates to the channel, explains our channel program and delivers customized content to our partners.”

CA is planning to launch real-time, online technical support through its website. This advanced level of support to customers will be the first of its kind in the region providing several Internet support systems including classical and self-support. The site will facilitate such features as e-mail rollout announcing fixes and new releases, hyper notifications, advanced search engines and user forums.
