NEW DELHI, 3 February 2005 — Saudi Ambassador Saleh Al-Ghamdi has underlined the investment and work opportunities for Indians in Saudi Arabia. He was addressing a seminar organized by the Institute of Marketing and Management in New Delhi.
The ambassador said: “The Kingdom offers tremendous opportunities through Indians already working in the Kingdom or through investment projects and joint ventures in which Indians can invest in the Kingdom under Saudi investment laws.” He also listed the privileges offered to foreign investors.
Indian investments will help provide jobs for both Saudis and Indians who will replace a number of Indians who might lose their jobs in the Kingdom due to ongoing Saudization, Al-Ghamdi said.
The seminar was attended by Law Minister H.R. Bharadwaj and Haryana Governor Dr. A.R. Kidwai.
