Actuate, a specialist in Enterprise Reporting Applications, has named Vincent de Gennaro to the position of vice president, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). De Gennaro will report to John Maxwell, Actuate’s vice president of international operations and will be responsible for Actuate’s EMEA Region strategy, sales, customer satisfaction and business development.
De Gennaro brings over 27 years of international sales and management expertise in the Business Intelligence and enterprise software market to Actuate. He was most recently president of EMEA at Istante, where he was responsible for initiating European operations and signing country distributors. Prior to his tenure at Istante, De Gennaro has held strategic international positions at Brio, Sagent, Pilot Software, Informix, Sybase, Software AG and Deltak.
