Celebrities’ skin care beauty secret is now available for women in Saudi Arabia.

In their quest for that eternal youthful and radiant look, celebrities are always on the lookout for the best in the world of skin care to make their skin look glowing, young and flawless. The brand currently gracing the boudoirs of many of Hollywood’s rich and famous is Natura Bissé.

Created in Barcelona, Spain, in 1979, by Ricardo Fisas, Natura Bissé has since become the world’s most luxurious, exclusive and innovative skin care brand. Gwyneth Paltrow, Julia Roberts, Kate Moss and John Travolta are amongst some of the stars using Diamond Cream, the skin care from Natura Bissé which provides unique regenerating results and immediate lifting effects, while revitalising and protecting the skin against all visible signs of ageing.

Madonna has not only chosen Natura Bissé Oxygen Line but actually swears by it. Oxygen Line reduces the effect of pollution and harmful elements on the skin and ensures the oxygen balance is restored, thus allowing the skin to breath and function at its optimal level at all times.

Sarah Jessica Parker’s latest craze from the Natura Bissé product range is the revolutionary Inhibit Dermafill, hailed as the complete alternative to Botox and cosmetic microinjections. Inhibit Dermafill guarantees dramatic reduction in the length and depth of wrinkles leaving the skin feeling newer, flawless and more youthful than ever before.

The good news is that we too can pamper our skin like the celebrities because Natura Bissé is now here in the Middle East, bringing with it the promise of results beyond all expectations. Natura Bissé, is currently available at Majestic in Jeddah, and Harvey Nichols in Riyadh. Customers can also visit the new Natura Bissé counters at selected Faces shops in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Dhahran.

“We just started here six months ago and we intend to expand but not in too many places, rather just concentrate on a few exclusive places in Saudi Arabia,” said Ricardo Fisas Verges, the founder’s son and the director of the international division, to Arab News during his recent visit to Jeddah. “The Middle East is an important market for us. The company grows on demand, we don’t go to a market but the market comes to us. For example, Neiman Marcus department store in the US called us, and the same thing with the Harrods store in the UK. It is also important for us to find the right people to market our product. Our relationship as Spaniards with Arabs is very strong, with our way of living, our culture and history. We always had Arab customers buying our products from Harrods for example and when the opportunity came to enter the Middle East market, first in Dubai a year ago, we went for it. For the short period of time we have been here we have done very well,” he said.

Natura Bissé Middle East’s approach to skin care not only focuses on its innovative products, but it centers on the proper diagnosis of the customer’s skin condition at the counter level through exclusive personalized skin analysis sessions. As such it identifies six major skin conditions for which treatment regimes are offered based on various product combinations. These skin care regimes include Anti-Aging Regime for aged and wrinkled skin, Dehydrated Regime for dry skin, Oily Regime for Oily/Acne skin, Devitalized Regime for dull and lifeless skin, Sensitive Regime for sensitive skin as well as the Lightning Regime for Hyper-pigmented skin. The company prides itself on being years ahead of other companies in skin care and in having a higher concentration of the active ingredients in their products making them more effective.

“Arab women are knowledgeable about skin care and they appreciate a good product,” said Fisas Verges. “We focus only on skin care and we are not into make up and other beauty products. We are more professional skin specialists than retailers. Our asset is research. We work closely with dermatologists, plastic surgeons and professional institutes. We have a small share of the skin care market but we are the best in it. We work with suppliers for the best and newest ingredients. The number of people working in our labs is double those working in marketing and we invest a lot in machinery and the latest technology,” he said.

The company is headquartered in Barcelona but it has a 100 percent owned subsidiary in Dallas, USA and another in Mexico. Through its Spanish office it distributes its products in Europe. “We have a distributor in Dubai but we are thinking of having a brand manager in Saudi Arabia to represent the company,” added Fisas Verges. The company provides its products to top spas around the world and it’s planning to have it available here perhaps at the Hilton Hotel.
