Up and coming London-based designer Elliot Biniti is the latest to take the bridal gown and evening wear market by storm. The label Elliot Biniti was developed when Elliot Adams and Tesemaye Binitie decided to combine their creative and artistic talents into a single fashion label. Both have backgrounds in the fashion world and degrees in fashion design. While adding their own elegance and style, their couture dresses have been compared to such legendary designers as Vera Wang and Elie Saib. Tesemaye’s background included working with the Stella McCartney design team where he was able to enhance his skills and craft. Whereas Elliot has had a passion for fashion since a very young age and won many prestigious fashion awards at his university because of his creative and refined design techniques.
“When we first started our line we had no idea how quickly things were going to pick up for us. I think this is mainly due to the great word of mouth we have received throughout London,” explained Elliot. Indeed things have been going well for the designers who now have a long list of celebrity clients. “No matter who our client is, we always want to be approachable designers by making sure the customer receives the highest quality design and fabric possible. Every women should look absolutely breath-taking when she wears one of our gowns,” states Tesemaye.
The two designers have been able to capture the long-lost elegance and essence of couture which is so refreshing in today’s world of mass production. The designers feel it is very important for them to make sure they have a connection with each client and from that, they are able to come up with a concept and muse for each of their creations. Then they go to the drawing board and the start to create mood boards, playing and draping with fabrics until a sample is created. Then fittings take place and final adjustments are made.” Each gown we design has a story of inspiration behind it and you can really see this with the amount of detail we put into it,” Elliot explains.
Due to the designers’ great success, they are looking forward to helping remodel the fashion world and bring back the couture and glamour that ruled the fashion industry some years ago. They intend on showing some of their stunning creations at the upcoming spring London fashion week and have future plans to expand into ready-to-wear collections and even branch out into men’s wear. “Eventually we want to be able to dress the Elliot Biniti man and woman from head to toe, creating a total look for any occasion day or night,” Elliott said.
