TABUK, 18 November 2005 — A SR8 million donation by a woman philanthropist saved a teenager’s life, Al-Madinah newspaper reported. The teenager was involved in a murder that took place six years ago. He killed his friend over an argument. The family of the victim asked for SR9 million in blood money. The boy’s family was able to collect only SR1 million. The woman donated the rest to meet the condition of the victim’s family and thus saved the 18-year-old from execution. The boy will be released when the procedures are completed.
