JIZAN, 20 November 2005 — A court in Jizan sentenced a woman convicted of killing the son of her brother-in-law to death, Al-Madinah reported. The three-year-old child was initially reported missing. An investigation was launched and police received a lead suggesting the woman’s criminal involvement. When she was questioned, she confessed to the crime and directed police to the crime scene where they found the body. The court sentenced the woman to death but efforts are being made to secure a pardon.
