WADI AL-DAWASER, 3 May 2006 — A man became a quadriplegic after a run-in with a goat, Al-Madinah daily reported yesterday. The Egyptian shepherd was presenting a goat to a potential buyer when the animal broke free from the man’s grasp and fled to a nearby barn. The shepherd followed in pursuit. When he ducked inside the shed the goat met him head-on with a rigorous butt with the horns. The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced paralyzed from the neck down.
