JEDDAH, 20 October 2006 — Effat College in cooperation with the Spanish Instituto de Empresa will present an executive education program to discuss issues related to women entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia.

The program will take place from Nov. 6 to 8 in Jeddah’s Westin Hotel. It will target current and future businesswomen with basic knowledge of management and English language.

The program is designed around three themes: Women & entrepreneurial skills; marketing & communication skills; and the local business environment for women entrepreneurs.

There will be 12 sessions with four 90-minute sessions each day.

Day one will focus on how to develop plans and use basic skills to make a successful business. Day two is devoted to communication and marketing abilities.

The first two sessions will address fundamental skills in the marketing process, including abilities for effective communication. The other two sessions will discuss the major international challenges facing women worldwide.

On the final day, representatives from Effat College will discuss in four sessions the current environment in Saudi Arabia for businesswomen. The Madrid-based Instituto de Empresa is one of Europe’s top five business schools.

The event will be followed up with a two-month online open discussion about business support. Registration for the program can be accessed online through Effat College’s website. The fee for the three-day-program will be SR3,000. There are discounts for group attendees.
