RIYADH, 18 February 2007 — With Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) and Singaporean Singtel reaching an agreement to activate MMS service between Saudi Arabia and Singapore, their subscribers can exchange MMS that contain pictures, clips and sound files up to 400KB anywhere in the two countries, Mobily said yesterday.
Mobily has also singed a similar agreement with Jordanian Mobilecom, which will facilitate international roaming for Internet GPRS and usage of MMS in the two countries. Mobily has activated the service for international roaming with more than 100 international operators. It signed international roaming agreements for Internet GPRS and MMS service with Swisscom, Cingular, American AT&T and Belgium’s Belgacom.
