JEDDAH, 24 February 2007 — Say What? An ordinary worker decided it would be a great idea to pose as an ear doctor at an eye, ear and throat clinic in the highland city of Taif, according to a report yesterday in the daily Al-Madinah. The man was rooted out by patients who reported to the police their suspicion that the doctor was, in fact, a “doctor”, a charlatan, a faker, a con-man. Police shut the clinic down and decided that it was high time to increase inspections of clinics in the city.
