JEDDAH, 10 March 2007 — Saudi Telecom Company (STC) will offer a 50-percent discount on international calls from its Aljawal, Hatif and SAWA services for two weeks starting Monday, according to a company statement issued yesterday.
Saud ibn Majed Al-Dowaish, president of STC, said the offer is valid for all countries. Under the scheme, calls to India and Pakistan will cost only 90 halalas per minute at off-peak hours.
Calls to the Gulf states can be made for 55 halalas, Egypt and Sudan at 85 halalas, Sri Lanka and Indonesia at SR1.10, the Philippines at SR1.30, Lebanon at SR1 and Syria at SR1.05, the company said.
