JEDDAH, 11 March 2007 — The 16th Saudi Building and Interiors Exhibition and Symposium will be held here on April 1-5, Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions told the media yesterday as it announced the calendar of events it will organize this year.
“The exhibition is scheduled at a time when the construction boom is evident all over the Kingdom,” Zahoor Siddique, exhibitions director at Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions, said.
Held under the patronage of Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, the the exhibition will have international participants from the Arab world, China, Turkey, India, France, Italy, Spain and Iran alongside a large number of local companies. The city mayoralty is organizing a high profile parallel symposium covering the building sector.
Machitech ‘07, the third in its series of machine and machinery equipment exhibition is scheduled from April 15 to 18.
Middle East Education and Training Exhibition and Symposium (MEETES) will follow from April 30 to May 3. Malaysia will be the largest group participating in this event. A symposium will be organized with the support of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry emphasizing on education opportunities, trends and employment.
Food and Hotel Arabia, Saudi Arabia’s 12th international event for food, beverages and catering, hotel equipment supplies and services, alongside the “Propac Arabia” for production and processing, printing and packaging, plastic and chemicals, will be held next from May 13 and 17. “Top Chef” and “Art de Table” that have become synonymous with this show will be among its special features.
Saudi Healthcare and Saudi Hospital, the twin event, will be held from May 20 to 23. International Book Fair will follow from Sept. 5 to 14.
COMMTEL, an event for computing, Internet, office equipment and accessories, business communications and mobile phones, is scheduled from Nov. 12 to16.
The Saudi International Motor Show will be held from Nov. 25 to 30. This year, the show is sponsored by Al-Rajhi Bank and will showcase motor vehicles, motorcycles, auto parts, accessories, and garage equipment.
