MAKKAH, 29 March 2007 — A 10-year-old Sudanese girl was found locked inside a bathroom in the residence of her 35-year-old aunt recently, a local Arabic newspaper reported yesterday. The girl, who was found in poor physical condition, was taken to Al-Nour Hospital where she is in stable condition. The aunt said the girl’s parents had been deported to Sudan, and that she was punishing the girl for bad behavior.
