MAKKAH: Police in the town of Adam in the Al-Laith area, found a 28-year-old Saudi woman whose disappearance 10 days ago had sparked a massive police search in the area.
Police found the woman, who is mentally ill, in the custody of the Passport Department. The woman had claimed she was a Yemeni overstayer.
Following questioning, the woman revealed her real name and details of her family.
A source at the Passport Department told Arab News that an official suspected the 28-year-old to be the woman that police had been looking for, as she matched a description circulated by the authorities.
