JEDDAH: The trial of 22 African men charged with stealing 150 cars in Jeddah is to be held soon, a local newspaper reported. The men, who have reportedly confessed their crimes, have also been charged with burglary, shoplifting and pickpocketing. The 22 men consist of 10 Chadians, 10 Somalis and two Sudanese. Police said the men used to dismantle the cars they stole and sold their parts. One of the men admitted that he had stolen 30 cars, while another said he had stolen 15 cars, according to police.
