JEDDAH: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah yesterday held talks with Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem Al-Thani on major regional and international issues, the Saudi Press Agency said.

King Abdullah also met with a delegation of the Dawa Committee headed by Prince Bandar bin Salman bin Muhammad, adviser to the king. The committee is holding a meeting in the Kingdom whose deliberations will focus on the moderateness of Islam.

Haj Minister Fouad Al-Farsy spoke about his ministry's efforts to enhance the facilities for pilgrims who come for Haj and Umrah. He praised the king for taking the initiative to further expand the Grand Mosque and carry out the high-tech Jamrat project.
