JEDDAH: Mohammed Jameel, chief job creation officer at Bab Rizq Jameel, inaugurated the new BRJ branch in Makkah along Abdullah Arif Street in Rusaifa district.

An initiative of Abdul Latif Jameel Community Services Programs, the new branch is the fifth among BRJ branches in the Kingdom.

The first BRJ branch was launched in mid 2007 at Sary St. in Jeddah, followed by Riyadh and Dammam branches in 2008. The second BRJ branch in Jeddah was opened in Al-Kandara district last month and is followed by the Makkah branch this month. The new branch in Makkah will serve as the main BRJ center in Makkah, and will offer several job creation programs.

The center will provide databases on job opportunities available with private companies, as well as lists of job seekers.

During the opening ceremony, Jameel expressed his appreciation of the creative ideas of women beneficiaries who started small but outstanding projects with the support of BRJ. He thanked the Human Resources Development Fund, the Saudi Credit and Saving Bank and the Makkah governorate for their continuous support to BRJ programs.
