TAIF: Police in Taif are searching for a woman in her 30s who escaped from a mental hospital with an unidentified man yesterday.
The woman had been brought to the hospital for treatment. She escaped while staff were busy with her admission papers. The hospital notified the authorities about the woman and police launched a manhunt.
Saeed Al-Zahrani, official spokesman for Health Affairs in Taif, said woman came with her family. "She was examined in the hospital's emergency section and one of the doctors said she should be admitted. She escaped before this could happen," he said.
