The Riyadh Court of Grievances needs to endorse a verdict from its Jeddah counterpart before it is made public.

Al-Ajhouri’s properties are the subject of much speculation because it is debated whether they should be auctioned off to compensate victims of a large scam he engineered.

Those affected by the fraud had invested millions in a bogus housing project set up by Al-Ajhouri over 27 years ago.

"The endorsement from the Court of Grievances in Riyadh, which is a normal procedure in such situations, would take only a few days," legal auditor Saleh Al-Naeem told Arab News on Wednesday.

The latest sitting on the case in the court was on Wednesday.
