- NEW DELHI: Three more people have died from injuries in the recent terrorist bombing at the southern city of Pune, raising the death toll to 15, officials said Sunday.
Two students and a business executive died since Saturday evening, said a policewoman at Bund Garden police station with jurisdiction in the Koregaon Park area where the February 13 bombing occurred. “The casualties are rising. While the business executive breathed his last Saturday, two students aged 23 and 24 years died Sunday morning,” she said. The blast ripped through a popular German bakery, injuring 60 people. More than 30 victims are still being treated in hospitals in Pune, about 165 kilometers south-west of Mumbai.
