The woman, who was in her 50s, was unable to leave her home, as she was stuck in a room with no way out.

The fire was able to spread quickly due to a large presence of cooking oil in the house.

Neighbors said the woman would cook food at home to sell to local children. The woman’s body was taken to King Faisal Hospital. The Civil Defense is still investigating the fire.
