The interior ministers of Arab states are scheduled to review a number of topics, including Prince Naif’s report on the activities of the Riyadh-based Naif Arab University for Security Sciences.

They will also review security plans and strategies, a mechanism to implement these strategies, and recommendations of the technical committee’s meetings with the Arab League, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.

Addressing the Arab interior ministers’ meeting in Beirut last year, Prince Naif called on Arab media organizations to play an active role in educating the citizens of Arab states about the danger posed by deviant ideologies to prevent them from joining terrorist groups.

“We in Saudi Arabia are more concerned with this issue and we don’t allow our youth to follow such ideologies,” he said.

The prince praised the efforts of Saudi security forces in defeating terrorism.

Prince Naif will be accompanied by a high-ranking delegation including Ahmad Al-Salim, undersecretary of the interior minister.
