- QUNFUDA: A man in his 40s could not believe his luck when he found over SR1 million in his bank account even though he was sure his bank balance was close to zero, Al-Shams newspaper reported.
The man tried to find an explanation for the cash; even assuming it was a special blessing from the Almighty for his pious deeds. It never occurred to him, however, that the cash might have ended up in his account by mistake.
Overjoyed and anxious to know whether the money was still in his account, the man visited an ATM the next day. To his surprise it was still there.
However, on the third day, he found the money missing and went straight to his bank where an employee explained that the money had mistakenly been transferred into his account and had been withdrawn when the bank discovered the error.
The man then went berserk and threatened to sue the bank, saying he had been left deeply traumatized.
