In the second year of the “Born To Be” competition, Maybelline NY has teamed up with Emirati sisters Hind and Reem Beljafla — the creative forces behind Dubai’s own DAS Collection. The collection consists of trendy abayas inspired by the romance of Paris, the bustle of London and the dashing couture of Dior. As a matter of fact, they debuted their Autumn/Winter 2010 collection at this season’s Dubai Fashion Week and took home the fashion award for Best Local Dress Designers. Reem was also recently awarded Best Business Woman of the Year and Best Design Business by Mohammed bin Rashid Awards for Young Business Leaders. In other words, one cannot ask for someone better to mentor the region’s brightest budding fashion star?

The true essence of the competition is to exemplify the Maybelline New York brand’s ambition of nurturing confident women by putting them in control of their life goals and empowering them to live their dreams!
