The report stated that between 90 and 95 percent of people have blood pressure problems because of known reasons such as repeated kidney infections, stones in the kidney, endocrine disorders, disruption of hormones and pregnancy etc.

I honestly think this figure is positive. It is lower than I had expected. I thought 80 percent of the Saudi population would be suffering from blood pressure problems. The remaining 10 to five percent of people who have blood pressure problems because of unknown reasons could be experiencing such because of the Kingdom’s traffic problems, the difficulties they face following up on paperwork in government departments, power outages and water shortages.

I will elaborate on this further. Imagine you have a road accident in which you hit a tree on the sidewalk. You would be fined SR5,000 whereas if the opposite happened in that the tree fell on your car, you would not get anything.

According to Hussein Al-Boloushi, PR manager of the Eastern Province Municipality, if a tree fell on one’s car because of strong wind or rain then the driver would not be compensated. Citizens should believe in destiny and since citizens believe in destiny they should not claim compensation. This story is not fictional but totally real.
