Indian International School, Jeddah, Principal Syed Masood Ahmed was the chief guest. The program started with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an.

Dr. Mohammed K.M., principal of MISJ, welcomed the gathering with an expressive speech.

He quoted Mahatma Gandhi, when he said, “Education is the overall development of the human being: mind, body and spirit.” He said students in Gulf countries have talent that requires proper exposure. MISJ aims to hone its students talents by organizing weekly literary competitions. 

Masood, who was presented a memento from the school manager Syed Habib Thangal, expressed his pleasure in attending the event. He said he always appreciated all student-teacher gatherings.

He announced the opening of the literary competitions and encouraged the students to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the school.

A troupe of girls then presented a beautiful prayer song to set off a fascinating and dynamic celebration. The program ended with the chanting of Saudi and Indian national anthems.
