"I and my colleague Nestor Torre are very happy to have visited Saudi Arabia," said Roa. "We have been overawed wherever we went by the warm reception accorded to us by our compatriot Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs)."

Roa and Torre, who is also an entertainment editor at the Philippine Daily Inquirer, visited the Kingdom as guests of honor during the film showing on June 18 of ("Grandfather is Already Dead") at the Philippine Embassy.

The reception was attended by members of the Filipino community.

The two returned to the Philippines later in the night.
